Synthesis and conformation of 2-silylethynyl-substituted 2,4,4,6-tetramethyl-1,3-dioxanes

Abstract

Reaction of 2,4,4,6-tetramethyl-1,3-dioxanium perchlorate with lotsich reagents led to the synthesis of new silylethynyl-substituted 2,4,4,6-tetramethyl-1,3-dioxanes. According to the data of 1H and 13C NMR and X-ray diffraction analysis, it was established that the 1,3-dioxane ring of the products obtained has the chair conformation.
