Reaction of β-arylacryloyloxiranes with phenylhydrazine

Abstract

The reaction of β-arylacryloyloxiranes with phenythydrazine under the conditions of acid catalysis leads to 3 arylvinyl-1-phenylpyrazoles and 2-hydroxymethyl-5-aryl-1,4-pentadien-3-one phenythydrazones.
