Abstract

The reaction of sodium sulfide and thiols with formaldehyde and acetone in a solution of sodium hydroxide or in ethanol gave 1,1'-{3-[(alkylsulfanyl)methyl]tetrahydro-2H-thiopyran-3,5-diyl}dietha-nones.
