Abstract

Much synthetic effort is being devoted to the synthesis of fused nitrogen-containing heterocycles. Among these, pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoline derivatives continue gaining attention from the synthetic community throughout the decades owing to their diverse biological activities and precious functional properties. Recent advances in the preparation of these prominent heterocycles are summarized in this review.
