Synthesis of adenine derivatives containing an amino alcohol fragment

Abstract

The alkylation of adenine and N(6)-substituted adenine derivatives by 1,2-dihaloethanes and the production of 9-(2-haloethyl) derivatives of adenine were studied. In the reaction of the derivatives with amino alcohols a series of adenine derivatives containing an amino alcohol fragment was synthesized.
