Abstract

4,4′-Diamino-3,3′-azofurazane undergoes intramolecular oxidative cyclization to give 5-[4-amino(1,2,5)oxadiazolyl]-5H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-c][1,2,5]oxadiazole upon heating with Pb(OAc)4 in chlorobenzene or o-dichlorobenzene or with thionyl chloride.
