Synthesis of derivatives of 1-aminobenzimidazoline-2-thione

Abstract

A new method for producing 1-aminobenzimidazoline-2-thione by the reaction of 1-amino-2-chlorobenzimidazole or 1-aminobenzimidazole-2-sulfonic acid with sodium hydrosulfide is proposed. The pathways of synthesis of N-arylamino-2-methylthiobenzimidazoles were studied.
