Abstract

6-Benzylidene-, 6-(furan-2-ylmethylene)-, and 6-(thiophen-2-ylmethylene)-1,3,4-thiadiazin-5-ones have been synthesized by condensation of 1,3,4-thiadiazin-5-ones with appropriate aromatic aldehydes.
